Established in 1994, Buffalo Tours is Vietnam’s leading destination management company with its own offices and operations in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand & Myanmar. Buffalo Tours offers customised, guided private and group tours, accommodation, transfers, flights, cruises, day trips and excursions across Indochina & Thailand. We serve clients in English, French, German and Spanish languages.

Throughout two decades of operation, Buffalo Tours has carried more than 500,000 passengers and won several travel industry awards for our products and services. Our team of multi-national management and local staff in each region offers deep local expertise as well as outstanding customer services.

First to offer adventure travel in Vietnam and regional leader in responsible travel with a dedicated Educational Travel Asia team, Buffalo Tours employs 250 people in ten offices worldwide.

Who we are

Buffalo Tours was launched in 1994 by CEO Tran Trong Kien a young medical student from Hanoi. Kien guided travellers throughout Vietnam to help fund his studies, and show off the country he loved. Today, Buffalo Tours is one of Southeast Asia’s leading destination management companies with more than 70,000 passengers carried annually and several industry awards won. That same drive to showcase our region is at the heart of everything Buffalo Tours do today.

Our name and logo The buffalo represents diligence, strength which is considered  a symbol of prosperity in Asian culture. At Buffalo Tours, we work hard to bring value to all through our extraordinary and authentic travel experiences.
